Making bonds like the Elephant

Updated: Nov 14, 2020

We all know that Elephants are the world's largest living land animal but little do we know about their Emotions.

They are said to be one of the most intelligent creatures who can identify themselves in the mirror, this sense of self identity is rare in the animal kingdom. Knowing oneself is just a mere example of how capable these animals are.

These animals are gifted with human-like bond making with other organisms. So if you made an elephant friend in your childhood and it made a strong impact on him/her, it is likely that he/she will remember this bond even after many years of separation with you. This is a natural ability of them and we can learn from them because in the modern times there is a decline in the development of real bonds among one another.

Growing up in this society where we face so many different situations where we have to choose ourselves over other people. Sometimes being exposed to such situations makes us selfish and we forget the people who helped us when nobody else did. Here we should learn from the Elephants to stay Humble no matter if we become successful or we stay the same. Despite their humongous size they are humble and that is what makes them respectful in many cultures all over the world.

Respecting the people who made a positive impact in your life and taking care of them is the vibe which an Elephant provides to people and other animals which he bonded with. This quality of the elephant is to such an extreme that they are one of the rare animals who experience Post Traumatic Stress Disorder too after experiencing a traumatic incident. This relates to such a pure nature of these animals which allows them to feel human-like emotions as well as sorrows.

So what we can understand from the above paragraph is that we should adopt some qualities of the elephant which are more humane than we humans. It is interesting to note that these animals are more human than us and how magnificent nature is which provided such qualities in them.

Having strong bonds with our fellow beings facilitate the development of Real relationships which are beneficial in both long and short term. Thus having a personality like the majestic Elephants will help us in becoming humble and reliable to others which will make our bonds even stronger. So go on and try to polish the relationships which matter to you and work on your behaviour to become more humble.
